National Home Watch Association Accreditation
National Home Watch Association Accreditation
NHWA Accreditation puts us in the company over 500 Home Watch businesses
When I began investigating Home Watch as a business, I came across the National Home Watch Association. My research determined that joining the NHWA was the best way for me to get a great start. Their training, industry standards and regional chapters (North Central Chapter, Ohio to Minnesota) is paramount for getting started. To meet the requirements for National Home Watch Association Accreditation, I was required to go through a criminal background check, provide proof of insurance, bonding, and proper business licensing. This creates tremendous value for my clients in the event of any possible problems.
Hudson Home Watch’s National Home Watch Association Accreditation is critical to ensuring safety and trust with our clients. The information below and the video explain this in more detail.

- Homes controlled by an HOA/POA have bylaws that dictate how their exterior and ground are to be maintained. An Accredited Home Watch service will make itself aware of these rules and make sure that your home is kept within guidelines. They will address any problems with landscapers and lawn services.
- For condo owners, while an HOA/POA is responsible for common grounds and common areas, you are responsible for everything from the “studs in”. Problems in an upstairs unit can create major damage to the unit below. Common pipes in common walls are also notorious for causing problems to multiple units. An Accredited Home Watch service can discover issues prior to your return.
- An Accredited Home Watch service will give you peace of mind, knowing that your home is being looked after by professionals who have your best interests in mind.
